USW’s Humanity Fund contributes $20,000 to assist families in Philippines and Guatemala

RELEASE, Oct. 5 – USW’s National Director Ken Neumann announced a contribution by the Steelworkers Humanity Fund of $10,000 to assist people left homeless due to flooding caused by Typhoon Ketsana in the Philippines and another $10,000 to assist peasant communities in Guatemala facing starvation due to failure of their crops.
