What's Our Canadian Plan?
For years now our Union in Ontario and the Atlantic Provinces has strongly advocated for new trading rules designed to protect Canadian jobs. We have often been the lone voice demanding protectionist laws when others said it can’t be done and quickly dismissed us as wacky extremists. Today we are joined by others in our demand for more protectionist laws, but unfortunately the voices are coming almost exclusively from outside our borders. So where is our Canadian voice?
